It all started at Mama Anita’s cocina.

Our journey began at Mama Anita’s kitchen. As children, we were always surrounded by her cooking, fondly remembering trips to the local tortilla shop to get fresh tortillas and helping her cook in the sweltering kitchen. This is where our love for food was born. We always knew food would play a significant role in our lives, though we weren't sure how until much later.

That's when "Hola Mija" was born—a brand inspired by our love for traditional flavors and our passion for creating better tortilla chips. Unable to find tortilla chips in the grocery store that were made without seed oils and with quality salt, we decided to create our own. We source the best ingredients in Southern California to make our chips.

Our goal is to provide a healthier option for everyone, with a special emphasis on the Latino community. Just like Abuelita would say after a long day of playing, "¡Vengan a comer!" (come and eat!).
